About Me:: Dandavat Pranam to all vaishnavas. All glories to guru and Gauranga. i am Vanitha started practising Krishna consciousness from the age17. My life really changed after being with Krishna.The main thing changed me is actually Prasadam.There s no difference between Krishna and Prasadam. respecting prasadam should be main activity. while taking prasadam regularly my heart got slowly cleansed and started chanting. by constant chanting i got interest in knowing about krishna more.and i started reading Prabhupad books. after this i got real nector and i am being with that. i am also praying to be with this and should improve more in future.. Hare krishna.

Favorite Music:: all bhajans and kirtans of Gauranga.

What am I looking for:: Nice association with devotees who keeps regularly in touch with me.

This is a great site, even if you're a devotee who isn't necessarily a member of ISKCON, it's just full of wonderful stuff (pics, info, videos, links) and worth all the questions you have to answer to be allowed to join. They've basically kept the lunatics out (aha, i fooled em ;)

We are running a gurukula for poor children in Bangalore. This gurukula provides the free English medium education for 20 children. The children have been admitted in Jyoti Vidyalaya, a near-by school. Ashrama paid about Rs. 50,000 ($1200 USD) as the donation and fees for the gurukulis. The children are very intelligent and sharp. They are influencing their classmates by telling them not to eat meat, fish and eggs. They also distribute the mantra cards.

A lot more boys are interested in joining Srila Gurudeva’s ashrama. If we receive some additional funds, we shall be able to accommodate many more devotees in this gurukula and give them first class education. The children are our future. Today’s children are tomorrow’s citizens. They shall lead the Gaudiya Matha activities and preach vigorously.

We are planning to expand our activities soon. We also desire to build a new school. Ashrama is in the process of acquiring some more land a little away from the existing ashrama, where we want to start an ashrama for ladies and girls.

Bangalore ashrama needs an LCD projector for showing the movies and other preaching material in towns and villages around Bangalore. This type of outreach program shall definitely attract a lot more people and children to our ashrama and gurukula.

Let join hands fulfilling the prophesy of Srila Gurudeva that Bangalore Ashrama shall have 1000 devotees staying in it. Srila Gurudeva wants that our ashrama should be like Vasista and Viswamitra Rsi’s ashrama.
