why is it that ISKCON literature so against the science and scientists.(i have read it in the folknet)

Scientists think they can create life....... is it a crime to think that way.... i don think creating life doesn't make one a god.

The literature i read always comments and criticises the work of scientists which i think is not correct.

Lets think for a while that there are no scientists at all. Now, how do we think of getting out of body related sicknesses.

Hare Krishna Prabhuji,
I have lot of patience but worried I have complete knowledge for your queries as I am also quite new to this practice line. Anyway, you raise your queries to generals and I hope some of our gurus will respond on the same. Personally you can reach at my given e-mails.

Hare Krishna Dasharath Prabhuji,
Sab usika maya :-)

Stay in touch and remain Krishna conscious. Believing in science is not discouraged by Krishna Consciousness but scientists have their own limits to understand the whole creations. Till anybody has understood who are they? Krishna consciousness never prohibit you to know more on GOD’s business rather it encourages you to know more on it and to act more on it. But never get too much attached to your job as the result may or may not be the final one.

In mathematics I remember teacher used to ask What is a point (.)? Answer was POINT which does not have this Does not have that etc… Is that true definition? If you analyze, scientifically we are at very much novice position in the ocean of knowledge of Krishna/God.

Hare Krsna Prahbu.
Tilak is a outward or external symbol that represents surrender to the Lord, Krsna. It marks our body as a temple. It is made of a type of mud, I use Gopi Chandan. I have also used Radha Kunda. But mostly Gopi Chandan is used.
From my understanding of Tilak, the two vertical lines on the forhead respresent Krsna's lotus feet, the bottom part underneath the lines is Tulasi leaf. So the Tulasi leaf is offered at the feet of Lord Krsna.

I am sorry you hate the songs on my page, prahbu. They are good songs sung in devotion to the Lord, therefore I do not see how they can be "sinful".
Also, there are some very nice devotional songs to Lord Krsna in english, but it is good to understand the roots and origins of every culture. Srila Prahbupada taught us a lot of these songs, therefore I follow the spiritual master as he said to learn them and the other mantras.

I hope this meets you well in your service to Lord Krsna.
Haribol~
Your servant,
