About Me:

I from a mixed English, Hungarian, gypsy, and Jewish background. Since I was a kid I always felt like I wanted to be spiritual. I used to hang out at my hindu and sikh friends houses waching bollywood films and picking up Hindi. When I wasnt doing that I was driving my parents mad coming home with henna on my hands and my hair braided in the way the Indian / Asian kids did and all befor I was 12 years old.

Ive always felt more at home in that culture than in the one I was born in. A lot of my friends parents were surprised that I knew just how to act in their home without ever being told - but it always felt very instinctive to me.
For a long time I thought my place was in Judaism, after all thats where my roots are. But in the 5 years since i completed the Jewish conversion process it feels like the amount of jewish blood in my veins is more important to other jews than my faith. Im tired of being told i look too jewish or not jewish enough and im tired of forcing myself into a way of life that after almost 7 years still feels alien..

So here I am, at the doorway to Krishnas temple, and it feels like im home:)

What am I looking for:

A life centered around devotion and service to God, where the colour of my skin and the mix of my blood doesnt determine my right to be in a temple or to call my self a follower or believer.

Radhe Krishna temple London ( the only one ive been to so far )
